Dear Gary:

Thank you for providing the WRC Board reports in September. We appreciate the information and the opportunity to discuss past performance and future opportunities for Colonial Oaks Health and Rehabilitation Center, Colonial Oaks Retirement Community and Avon Health and Rehabilitation Center.

COVID-19 has presented significant challenges to the healthcare industry. We are confident that few would have believed on January 1, 2020 the sweeping changes that would impact the very way we live. Truly, we are living in unprecedented times.

The senior housing industry has been significantly impacted, as the elderly population is particularly vulnerable to COVID. We recognize that TLC Management has taken infection control measures, created distinct areas to isolate the spread of COVID residents and offered housing and financial incentives for the staff to reduce potential exposure to COVID-19. TLC also took immediate and great financial risks to procure PPE what was in a crisis level demand. Thank you for making it a priority to care for both the TLC residents and employees. Many of your peer long-term care companies did not undertake the extraordinary measures you implemented.

On behalf of the WRC Board, I want to express our sincere appreciation to you and the TLC Management team. We recognize that TLC, regional teams and the facility teams have all worked tirelessly for months to make the residents and employees of Colonial Oaks Health and Rehabilitation Center, Colonial Oaks Retirement Community and Avon Health and Rehabilitation Center a priority during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Cordially,

Wesleyan Retirement Center Board of Directors
